So, I thought I would make a quick note on what we have decided to do for school for our girls this coming year.
We have both decided FOR SURE that public school in this area is just NOT an option!!! Mark recently learned of the high percentage of teenage kids in our area that are illiterate! (Mind boggling isnt it!)
So, I got thinking why I wanted some kind of change…. and I finally figured it out! K12 stressed me out. It was more like doing public school at home, except the kids were actually getting a fairly good education!!! haha
Anyway, so what we decided to do is to branch out on our own and start buying our own curriculum and using that.
We talked about all the social interactions/activities that the girls do, so we know they wont be starved for socialization.
I’m am going to be meeting with several home school mother friends of mine to look at what they use so I can make an educated decision on what I would like to get for the girls.

If anyone has a suggestion, I’m WIDE open for thoughts on that!!!
