Bonnie surgery followup
Posted by: Mark Barber
Well it has been a fun day. Bonnie’s surgery rent really well. The nurses at the beginning had Bonnie and I convinced they needed to do an enema. I guess it was her way of helping the patients relax. The surgery took an hour and a-half. They sometimes have to ‘pack’ the sinus but Bonnie’s went so well, they did not. She took forever to wake up. I have only heard her say maybe ten sentences all day. She has been signing some things, but has just been out of it. She is doing good, it is just the medications. The nurse in recovery said they used cocaine in her nose. Apparently it helps constrict the vessels, control the bleeding and numbs the area. Either way we all need to give her crap about being a druggy.

Melanie Willesen took the girls for us today. Took them to the aquarium, bought them each a present in the gift shop, took them to lunch. A great big THANK-YOU for her!! Mel, you Rock!

Matt took the girls to their first classroom based sign language class tonight. It goes for a few months, so Bonnie and I will get to go latter. A great big THANK-YOU for Matt! After that he came home and cleaned up the kitchen even doing all the dishes. Man he rocks.

We had dinner brought in tonight by a member of the ward, and Stacy our neighbor is bringing take and bake pizza for us tomorrow. We us have the best friends and family.

That is about it. Feel free to call, but you get to talk to me, Mark. Bonnie will be out of it for another day or two.
Thanks everybody for your prayers and love.
