Plantar Fasciitis part 2
Posted by: Bon
So for those of you who are interested in the latest news on my foot condition, here it is:
I went in for a follow up with my foot doc today, which was good timing because I was having pain in my left heel yesterday, which was a first. At least for that type of pain.
So, the doc very lightly touched my foot in the exam today, and when he got down to my heel it sent me through the roof! So the doc said that the ligament in my left foot is slipping off the bone in my heel. Yeay! That sounds like loads of fun!
He then gave me a cortisone type shot in my heel. (more fun stuff)

He also said I have calcium deposits in my heel, which he said is fairly normal for people with this condition.
He then told me that because I have high arches, I am a “high candidate for foot surgery”.
I go back in another 2 weeks. So, if I have any more interesting news at that point I’ll do another blog update.
