For those of you who have heard about my dad’s pneumonia health problems back when Ang got married, here is an update on how things have been for him.
for 3 weeks there was really not much improvement. Still on oxygen, and his doctor still making house calls! (What an AMAZING doctor!)
About a week ago my dad had a few falls that he didn’t remember, which means he passed out. A couple times were kind of on my mom, which helped a bit. But it was just strange, my dad would say “Now why do I have all these bruises”. So not only did he not remember falling, but he didn’t remember getting up.
The doctor checked him out after these episodes happened,no sign of stroke, so that is GOOD!

This week the doc did an x-ray to see how the pneumonia in his lungs are, and if its gone yet.
Well, it wasn’t. In fact it sounded as if there was no change from when he got his first x-rays. So that isn’t good!

But he has been able to leave the house a few times for short amounts of time, which is Great improvement from how he was when he First got it!

In fact, this last Sunday when we lost Duke, Mark had apparently called my parents to tell them the news, and they Flew right over here! My sweet father, being another dog lover, stayed outside with me, sitting on a chair next to me, as long as he could. He went in when it started to get cold. (that’s obviously not a good thing for him to be out in the cold!)

But he is still So tired, and just not well! He is still on the oxygen, which frustrates him! He said its annoying, uncomfortable and dries out his sinuses.

We’re all hoping that he can improve soon! its no fun for him to be sick for a month, and not just sick….this is really ill!

So, if you all could remember him in your prayers, he could use any and all help!! :)

So, that is an update on him!
